1 cup of granulated sugar
3 large heaps of golden syrup
1 1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda
- I recommend mixing the sugar and syrup together first without any heat.
- Once mixed, add to the heat until it is bubbling. It should take around 3 minutes.
- Off the heat, combine the bicarbonate soda immediately and whisk until a light brown foam appears.
- Pour onto a tray to let it set.
